Today is a special day. As far as I know, today isn’t a holiday or the date of any commemoration of note. No; it’s special because it’s the day before tomorrow and exactly one month before March 19.
Let me explain.
Men’s Services Expansion Grand Opening
Tomorrow, we will celebrate the opening of our emergency housing wing for male survivors of domestic abuse and their children. This three-bedroom/bathroom unit with a full-service kitchen, laundry and family room will be able to house up to 12 men and their kids. We’re hosting a come-and-go open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and you’re invited.

Men’s IN Action READ
One month from today, March 19, over 400 men will volunteer as guest readers in elementary school classrooms across Hendricks County. The purpose of this awesome event is to give men the chance to model Christ-like values for young people and to show we support school teachers and staff. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for the men in your churches.
