Mark Badgley received a Johnson Controls, Inc., 4th Quarter Merit Award for Customer Satisfaction.

On December 8, 2011, Mark Badgley received a Johnson Controls, Inc., 4th Quarter Merit Award for Customer Satisfaction. The Indianapolis office of Johnson Controls, has enjoyed a long tenure of satisfied customers including Eli Lilly, Clarian Health, IU Medical, and IUPUI to name a few. As the Systems Engineering Leader for the Eastern half of the Central Region, Mark Badgley has been involved with all the major Indianapolis customers over many years. Not only has Mark helped develop a culture of quality engineering and customer satisfaction, he has also led the way when it comes to Community Involvement and the Blue Sky initiative.

Over the past few years, Mark has received a Blue Sky Involve Grant to help the Sheltering Wings organization in Danville, IN. Sheltering Wings provides emergency housing for women and children suffering from any form of domestic abuse. Mark has then organized a fund raiser at the annual John Force Racing Summer Car Show, which brings in additional funds for Sheltering Wings. He has teamed with a local auto dealer (Bill Estes Ford) to help promote this worthy endeavor. In addition to helping Sheltering Wings, the show also benefitted the Hendricks County Food Bank. This effort typically generates several pallets of food to be donated to the less fortunate residents of Hendricks County near Indianapolis.

If you thought Mark’s schedule was already busy enough, he also finds time to donate his services to the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS). This is an organization made up of all the major customers and contractors in Indianapolis. Mark has served on the Board of Directors for 6 years and has also participated in several committees to establish the Core Values and Mission Statements for this organization. Mark continues to stay involved with the Indianapolis customers and the community as a whole, as evidenced by his dedication with the above mentioned organizations.
