This Thanksgiving, I will take our residents as my role models and give thanks for every day of my life. And, to continually adjust my heart and mind in the midst of what’s happening in the world around us, I will do as Matthew 11:29 says: “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.”
I’m praying God’s peace and grace will be closer to you – closer to us all – than ever before during the upcoming holiday season.
