Liz Forkin Bohannon is the founder of Sseko Designs, the author of the bestselling book Beginner’s Pluck: Build your Life of Purpose & Impact Now, and the host of the Plucking Up podcast.

Through her work in the fashion industry, Liz seeks to create educational and economic opportunities for women worldwide and infuse radical transparency and equity into the global supply chain. Through her work as an author, writer, and speaker, she uses her entrepreneurial journey and learnings to inspire and equip leaders across the globe to build lives (and businesses!) of purpose, passion, and impact.

Liz graduated from the University of Missouri with a Master’s degree in Journalism. She moved to Uganda with the hope of becoming a human rights journalist. Instead, she started a multi-million-dollar social enterprise to create equity and opportunity for women and girls in developing economies. Liz’s story has been featured in dozens of publications, including Vogue Magazine, Redbook Magazine, O Magazine, Inc, and Fortune, and appeared on national broadcasts, including ABC’s Shark Tank and Good Morning America. Among other notable honors, Liz was named a top three Transformation Leader by John Maxwell, Forbes listed her as a top 20 public speaker in the U.S., and Bloomberg Businessweek named Liz a leading social entrepreneur to watch.

Liz lives in an intentional community she co-founded in Portland, Oregon, with her husband Ben and their 7, 5, and 2-year-old sons.

The 2024 Premier Event, Mosaic, will be held at the JW Marriott. The address is 10 S West St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Self parking can be found across the street at the Indiana Government Center parking facility (42 South Missouri Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204) located at the corner of Maryland Street and Missouri Street. There is a skywalk on the third level that will lead you directly to the second floor of the JW Marriott. Once you enter the JW, you’ll walk straight ahead to the registration area.

If you don’t feel like dealing with parking, ride services like Uber or Lyft are great options!
