Join us for our Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month!
Our focus this month is on the 40 Developmental Assets. The 40 Developmental Assets® Framework, created by the Search Institute, identifies the positive life experiences and qualities young people need in order to grow into successful, thriving, and contributing members of their community.
There are both internal and external assets. Internal assets are the personal skills, commitments, and values that young people need to make good choices, take responsibility for their own lives, and be independent and fulfilled. External assets are the supports, opportunities, and relationships young people need across all aspects of their lives.
