The Danville Chamber usually meets at the Fairgrounds, but yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting at the Mayberry Café. What a wonderful experience we had and the food was delicious. Dan Pence came and spoke about employment for Veterans. In March, the unemployment rate for young veterans was 21.1%. Dan spoke about the job opportunities that they are making available for veterans in our area. It breaks my heart to know that these young men and women who are selflessly serving our country come home to that statistic. I hope that we never forget the wonderful sacrifice that the veterans are making for our country.
