We each live in our own world, or more appropriately, we each see the world from our own personal lens. This allows us to see things with a filter of our own personal situation and experience.
It is a real challenge to try to view the world from the perspective of another, but sometimes it helps us to realize how blessed we truly are, and the good that we can do for others.
There are many opportunities that we each see on a daily basis to help others and create a positive change in our communities. I have been called myself to help others, and mentor children at Sheltering Wings. This experience has helped me see the world in a new and better way, and has allowed me to serve those individuals in my community who are in need. I challenge you to find time to devote to helping others, and volunteering with one of the great organizations within your community. Be the change that you wish to see in your world, and know that what you are doing is more valuable than anything money can buy.
