This month, I want to emphasize the spirit of giving. It’s often easy to give to those we know and love—family members, close friends, or colleagues. But what about those we don’t know as well? As Men in Action, I challenge each of us to ask, “How can I be a Man IN Action for someone else this holiday season?”
Start by looking at the needs around you. Perhaps you know a family member, friend, or colleague who could use a little extra help to make their Christmas special. If so, I encourage you to step in and be that support. However, if you don’t know anyone personally who is struggling, consider broadening your perspective.
There are countless not-for-profit organizations hosting Christmas fundraisers and giveaways. If you’re not familiar with any, take the time to search for opportunities in your community. Giving doesn’t have to be limited to financial contributions; your time and effort can be just as valuable. Volunteering at events or lending a hand to those in need can make a meaningful difference.
Let’s all commit to being Men IN Action this holiday season. By giving generously of our time and resources, we can help spread joy to those who need it most. Wishing you and your families a joyful and fulfilling holiday season!
