Youth Council

I am always impressed with the students who have joined the youth council. We have been meeting since April, and although we are few in numbers, they have the ability to get things done. When we first started talking about the Battle of the Bands event, I had a 7^th grader who expressed interest in writing the sponsorship letter! She did a great job! Two of the students have so much enthusiasm that they have already spoken to their principal about a school wide presentation at their high school this year. Another one of our youth council members gathered in-kind sponsorships! These students are great, and I am always reminded why I love teenagers!
