We believe the men in our community have a unique role to play in this endeavor. Please sign up today and help us fill every classroom! \nRegistration is $20 and it ensures each classroom gets a book to keep and a reader. Readers will receive a t-shirt and light breakfast.

DESCRIPTION:Embracing Empowerment is a domestic violence support group that meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm at Sheltering Wings. This support group will help victims and survivors gain knowledge of healthy/unhealthy relationships\, the dynamics of domestic violence\, safety\, and resources that are available. \nThis support group is open to both residents at Sheltering Wings and community members experiencing abuse. \nPlease call 317-745-1496 to let an advocate know that you are coming and to ensure that the group is meeting.

DESCRIPTION:Interested in being a Part of the Youth Council? \nSheltering Wings Youth Council\, Teens That Talk is a group of students from area schools in Hendricks County that are working to raise awareness in their schools\, communities and social circles about Healthy Relationships and Teen Dating Violence\, through education\, fundraisers\, social media campaigns and volunteering. \nWe meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month and work on upcoming events\, do volunteer projects\, address issues teens face in relationships as well as a variety of other things\, food is provided at the meeting and they are held at the Shelter from 6:30-8:00pm.
